Altitude Training

$270 initial session (15 hrs), TFMS Member Rate

$158 add’l booster sessions (5 hrs), TFMS Member Rate

*Mask required for Altitude tests. Masks available for $20 and may be reused for all follow up tests.

Using state-of-the-art altitude simulation systems from io-usa, our program is a “safe, drug free way of boosting energy levels and sports performance, finding relief from various health conditions or simply enhancing well being.”
It’s simple and does not involve time in a special tent – you just visit the TriFit MultiSport Simulation Center, sit down, relax and breathe. The io system is a passive altitude simulation program with proven results of rapidly strengthening the body, keeping it fit and well, and offering relief from various conditions.
The io program uses a sophisticated altitude simulator that forces the body to react as if at altitude.  It has a unique and responsive system that automatically delivers, alternately, high altitude (hypoxic) and sea level (normal) air via a mask, inducing beneficial stress in your body.   It causes your body to react to differing oxygen levels by producing a higher proportion of red blood cells. The more red blood cells you have, the more efficient your body becomes at transporting and using oxygen.

There are various io program options available depending on your needs.  The full, typical program takes place (1) hour per day for 15 days over the course of 3 weeks followed by boosters of (1) hour a day for 5 days every 6-8 weeks.
