Running to us is pure freedom; it is the one sport you can take with you wherever you go, unencumbered by equipment and gear. It is a space where complete freedom can be found. Running is also one of the best workouts on Earth, whether in solitude or with a group you always have an opportunity to discover something new about yourself. Running in Santa Monica and the Malibu Canyons allows us some of the most spectacular terrain on Earth. We are so fortunate to live in a place that offers so many beautiful breath taking canyons, trails, mountains and roads.

Wednesday Track Workout – 6:30am
This Wednesday morning track session is designed to help make you a better, faster runner. Led by TriFit coach Bernard Baski (link to his bio), we concentrate on run technique and interval training. The workout will start at 6:30am, please come 5-10 minutes early to warm-up. Don’t worry about your level of running. Whether you are training for a marathon, a 10K, or triathlon, or just trying to increase your level of fitness, the track will help you to be a faster, more efficient runner at every distance. Join us every Wednesday morning for this informative, fast and fun workout.
Thursday Road Run @ 2XU – 6:30pm
TriFit members are welcome to join the 2XU run group for a free, fun, energetic run group where all levels and ages are encouraged to participate. This is a fun run for both beginner and advanced runners, all levels are welcome. Three different distances are available to run: a 5k, a 5 miler or a 10k. Pür Pak (link) co-sponsors the run and will provide pre and post workout hydration for everyone!
Wednesday Road Run @ Top to Top – 6:30pm
TriFit members are joining Top to Top for a weekly run designed to facilitate those elusive maintenance runs, and a chance to meet some special guests and other runners in the area.
Beginning at 6:30pm every Wednesday night in front of the Santa Monica store, we will have some fun announcements and special guests. This run is for beginner through advanced runners and will offer three distances: 5k, 5 miles, 10k. After the run, Top To Top will be supplying food and drink for all. And don’t forget about the raffle prizes!
If you’re training for a marathon or just starting this “running” thing, this is a fun way to make it fun and easy, while still actually “training”.
Sunday Trail or Road Run – 7:30am
The Sunday morning run meets at one of two locations: Will Rogers State Historical Park (Pacific Palisades) or intersection of Ocean and San Vicente (Santa Monica). At either location, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to warm-up. This run is free and open to the public. Please check the calendar for specific run location.
This run is a fun way to get a great workout and chat away while getting the miles in. It’s a great social run and it gets the distance done. We typically run hills so get ready for a strength builder!
